Changelog#

Patch release for MSR 4.13.8 that includes the following changes.

  • [MSRH-1409] MSR now supports generating Software Bills of Materials (SBOMs) in CycloneDX format, in addition to the existing SPDX support, through a new system-wide SBOM Format setting at Administration > Configuration > System Settings. The new format is fully supported and is UI-compatible.

  • [MSRH-1404] MSR now assigns each deployment a unique, immutable Cluster ID (UUID) at install or first upgrade boot. Authenticated users can read it from GET /api/v2.0/systeminfo (msr_cluster_id); it is also logged once at core startup. Not currently available in the UI.

  • [MSRH-1002] Fixed an issue wherein helm upgrade --reuse-values from a release earlier than 4.13.6 failed with nil pointer evaluating interface {}.enabled, because values stored by those releases contain no migration key. The Migration Tool templates now guard against the missing key, so --reuse-values upgrades no longer require --reset-then-reuse-values.

  • [MSRH-1160] Fixed an issue wherein concurrent image replication caused project storage quota updates to fail repeatedly for up to five minutes, returning a generic internal server error. The failures occurred because the quota controller retried optimistic-lock conflicts with no backoff between attempts.

  • [MSRH-1061] Fixed an issue with assigning users/groups to a project, for example "Add member"/"Add group". The search dropdown always retrieved only the first page of 10 results.
