Release notes#
MKE 4.1.4 is a patch release focused on improving upgrade reliability and
air-gapped environment stability. The mkectl CLI no longer triggers unintended
k0s/k0rdent upgrades when it is used against older clusters, and ingress-nginx
migration has been enhanced for smoother upgrades and better coexistence with
the Gateway controller. Additional improvements include stronger CA certificate
validation, fixes to air-gap registry namespace sourcing, and earlier detection
of stale k0smotron artifacts in air-gapped environments.
