Upgrade Guide

Plan and execute an upgrade of Mirantis Secure Registry (MSR) 4.x. Choose the Helm procedure for Kubernetes deployments or the Docker Compose procedure for single-host deployments, based on how you installed MSR.

Downgrades are not supported

Downgrading MSR is not supported. Always back up your data before you start an upgrade. For the recommended procedure, refer to the Backup Guide.

Schedule your upgrade outside of peak hours. Brief interruptions can occur during the upgrade process.
