New features

Detail on the new features introduced in MKE 3.9.0 includes:

• Envoy Gateway is now the standard Kubernetes north-south entry point, providing a more modern, scalable, and API-native approach to traffic management. It takes the place of NGINX Ingress Controller, which will enter EOL status on 2026-APRIL-01.

• Expiration can now be configured for client bundles through parameters in the MKE configuration file.
