Upgrade with LDAP GroupSearch

After upgrading an MKE 3.x cluster to MKE 4, configure the settings for LDAP group search capability if group-based search was in use by any of the MKE 3 teams or organizations. If individual user search from among group members is important, configure the user search filter so that it includes those users.

Note

The configuration of group search in your MKE 4 cluster is a one-time operation. Once group search for LDAP has been configured in MKE 4, the migrated teams and organizations controllers will replace GroupSearch with the LDAP group, and enable the members of these LDAP groups to have org/team permissions wherever a group is assigned.
