Limitations on Logging, Monitoring, and Alerting

The following optional StackLight features require either a direct Internet access or HTTP proxy:

  • Salesforce integration (sf-notifier and sf-reporter)

  • Any receiver supported by Alertmanager that requires Internet access, for example, email, Microsoft Teams, ServiceNow, or Slack

For details on proxy implementation in MOSK, see Proxy support and cache of artifacts.

By default, the management cluster records outbound metrics in its logs instead of sending them to the telemetry endpoint (as it occurs in non-airgapped clusters). Since the cluster has no Internet connectivity, telemetry cannot be sent to Mirantis in real time, and Mirantis may request that you share a snapshot of these metrics offline instead. For details, see Outbound telemetry.
