Enhancements

The list of the enhancements in MSR 3.1.4 includes:

• Single step migration

• Time restriction for automatic backups

• Exclusions of scanned images from backup

Single step migration

With the new migrate command, users can now perform a single command in-place migration from MSR 2.9.x to MSR 3.1.x.

Time restriction for automatic backups

The backup configuration now includes a deadline setting that prevents prolonged execution of automatic backups. Access and adjust this functionality through the /api/v0/meta/settings/backup endpoint.

Exclusions of scanned images from backup

The backup command now includes the --ignore-scan-data flag, which prevents the inclusion of scanned images and layers in the backup.
